Chelsea beat Turkish side Galatasaray 2-0 in their Champions League last 16 match on Tuesday night, with the Blues now progressing to the last quarter finals, but at the expense of club legend Didier Drogba.
The 36-year-old striker, who scored the winning spot-kick in the Blues’ dramatic 2012 Champions League final win in Munich, shared the pitch with old friends and colleagues on Tuesday, with the Ivorian happy to jump into a Chelsea interview after the game with Blues skipper John Terry.
Like an old married couple, the pair were joined at the hip throughout, chancing cursory glances at each other, while happily stumbling through questions about Drogba’s emotions and performance on the night.
What do you think? Chelsea fans, do you miss Drogba? Let me know in the comments below…
