Well, it’s Friday again, so whatever you do this weekend, be careful, and don’t do anything that I wouldn’t do. But, before you go bungee jump, skydive, or take your chances with that sexy lady in the bar, don’t forget about today’s transfer roundup.

It seems to be a given that Didier Drogba is on his way out of Chelsea, even without taking his, er, tap of Nemanja Vidic that caused him to see red on Wednesday, but he’s not the only Chelsea player being linked with an exit now that the dust has settled on their Champions League heartbreak.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Frank Lampard is nearing a move to Inter, with the Serie A champions paying Chelsea on 8 million euros, while Lampard will earn 9 million euros a season.

Rumor Rating: 2 – Well, he hasn’t signed a new deal as of yet, but I still lean towards him staying at Chelsea after all that’s happened recently, and the way that the club have had his back in a difficult time. But, we’ll see…

Sky Sports reports that Manchester City have jumped in front of Arsenal and Tottenham in the race to sing Lille star Jean Makoun, saying that City have started talks with the Ligue 1 club about a move.

Rumor Rating: 4 – I’m leaning towards him going to one of the London clubs, but we’ll see what happens with City and Sven.

Real Madrid are reportedly tracking Deportivo defender Fabricio Coloccini, as they continue to look for defensive reinforcements to aid their push for a La Liga three-peat and a return to the pinnacle of European football.

Rumor Rating: 3 – The report says that Coloccini could be available for 13 million euros, which is certainly within Real’s range, and with them loaning new signing Ezequiel Garay back to his old club (Racing Santander) for a season, they need to add an experienced defender for the immediate future.

Palermo star Amauri should be a Juventus man before too long, provided the Brazilian forward’s agent cools it with the funny business, as Palermo’s president says that the agent is looking for 2 million euros in order in order for the deal to go through.

Rumor Rating: 5 – Is that tuna or cod that I smell? Hopefully this deal gets done without anyone getting in some sort of hot water.

AS says that Real Madrid could have the edge over the likes of European champions Manchester United and Barcelona for Ajax’s free-scoring Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Rumor Rating: 3 – There’s a good chance he could be moving, especially because Ajax aren’t going to be in the Champions League, but if someone’s going to sign him, it best be in the next couple of weeks – if he performs as he should at Euro 2008, his value will go up, up, up…

According to The Sun, Liverpool is set to up their bid for Gareth Barry to 12 million pounds, in the hopes that they can somehow persuade Aston Villa to let go of their captain.

Rumor Rating: 4 – Maybe Villa will try to hold out for 15 million, or they won’t sell at all, but whatever the case may be, Juventus will be monitoring the developments closely, as that situation could affect whether or not they land Xabi Alonso.

Tottenham could be close to finding a new keeper, as reports are saying that Spurs could be making a swoop for Gregory Coupet, the #1 for both Lyon and the France national team. The veteran keeper would be available for 2.5 million euros, which is his release clause.

Rumor Rating: 5 – It’d be a good signing for Tottenham, both in relation to cost and what they’ll be getting in Coupet.

So, who’s going to see the new Indiana Jones movie? If you do go see it, don’t spoil the ending for anyone, because that’s not nice (even though we already know how it’s going to end). Whatever you do, make some time for this weekend’s roundups, as they’ll be coming hot and fresh, unlike that buttered popcorn that’s been sitting there in the machine all day.

Anyway, it’s that time again – chime in, chip in, and I’ll be back tomorrow.
