Two cracking games in prospect on Sky Sports 1 “Super Sunday” with  Everton playing host to Liverpool and Chelsea taking on arch rivals Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.

Everton v Liverpool

First up at 1.30pm is the 219th Merseyside derby in which Everton look worth a wager at 2.7 with Betfred to secure all three points and the bragging rights to boot.
The Toffees go into the game in fourth position in the league – six points and 8 places above Brendan Rodgers men.
They have lost just one of their eight opening fixtures, and are just three points behind the two Manchester clubs.
That makes them look worthy favourites against who have already lost to United, Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion in what can only be described as a poor start to the season under their new manager.
They were far from impressive in notching a 1-0 victory against Reading at the weekend before winning by a similar margin against Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala in the Europa League on Thursday, and despite the fact they have won five of their last seven matches at Goodison they are going to have to raise their game to another level to win this in my book.
I think Everton are the better of the two sides at present, and are better equipped to come out on top.
Nikica Jelavic is likely to cause the Liverpool back-line all sorts of problems, and makes plenty of appeal in the first goalscorer market at 7.5 with Boylesports.
Everton to win 2-0 or 2-1 are my ideas of the outcome, and those scorelines can be backed at 13 and 11 with Paddy Power and Betfred respectively.

Chelsea v Manchester United

There will be certainly be no love lost when Chelsea take on United at 4pm, and Sir Alex’s side look too big a price at 3.1 with Betfred to emerge victorious.
The stats certainly favour Chelsea as the last 10 renewals of this fixture have resulted in six home wins and four draws.
They are also the current league leaders and haven’t lost this season, to me they have have looked vulnerable in defence and come into the game on the back of a disappointing mid-week loss to Shakhtar Dontesk in the Champions League.
United on the other hand are winning matches despite letting in goals and come into this aiming for four league away wins in a row.
They have been making it hard for themselves by conceding early goals but have a wealth of attacking striking talent that is capable of producing the goods in what is likely to be and end to end affair.
Robin van Persie has scored five times at Stamford Bridge – the best record of any visiting player – and looks terrific value at 7 with Boylesports and Paddy Power to net the opener.
He is also a standout 2.88 with Boylesports to score anytime, and that looks well worth a wager.
However, if you are playing in the first goalscorer market i would also suggest a small saver on  Javier Hernandez at 10 with Paddy Power.
The young Mexican has scored in four of the Red Devils’ seven clashes with Chelsea and looked right back to his best when scoring twice in the 3-2 victory over Braga in midweek.
I am going to take United to win 3-1 or 3-2, and those scorelines are priced up at 21 and 26 with bet365.
