It’s that time of the year again. The Barclays Premier League 2013/14 season is getting over this Sunday and we’ll be drawn to boring few months of hibernation. Thank God, we have World Cup in between to keep that spirit going.

It is also that time of the year, when clubs are busy in scouting players and doing best to agree players to put their signature over the dotted lines.

According to reports from France, Tottenham are leading the race to sign French striker Loic Remy, who is also a reported target of Arsenal and Liverpool.

The 27-year-old joined QPR last season, but following the club’s relegation to Championship, the French striker has been sent on loan to Newcastle, where he has bagged 14 league goals this season.

According to reliable French football, Loic Remy’s future lies 100 per cent from Newcastle next season. The striker was recently spotted at the Emirates, while Liverpool were thought to be interested in him as well.

Get French Football now reports that Tottenham have already entered into negotiations with the player’s entourage and will make a €12m offer for the player. The North London clubs are prepared to pay up to €17m for Remy.
