Rangers fans react to Kemar Roofe’s display against Dunfermline

Rangers recorded a 5-0 win over Dunfermline in the Scottish League Cup yesterday.

Goals from Kemar Roofe (2), John Lundstram, Scott Wright and Ianis Hagi sealed a morale-boosting victory for the Scottish champions at home.

Rangers went into the game on the back of three consecutive defeats across all competitions and needed the win to lift the spirits around the club.

Steven Gerrard’s men were dominant from start to finish and will now be eager to put together a winning run.

They were three goals ahead inside the first 20 minutes and never looked in danger of losing the game.

The Ibrox outfit are aiming to defend their Scottish Premiership title this season and cannot afford to drop points as they did against Dundee United last weekend.

Rangers fans were delighted with the performance by the players last night. Roofe was particularly outstanding for Rangers.

If Alfredo Morelos decides to move on this summer, supporters will hope that Roofe can fill the void he leaves behind.

The 28-year-old has struggled with injuries since joining Rangers but has looked sharp when he has played.

Here is how some Rangers fans reacted to his performance.
