Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan is pondering over a London move this summer.
Antonio Conte, the former Juventus manager is expected to take over at Stamford Bridge this summer and will look to sign the Belgian from Roma.
According to latest reports, Nainggolan has already informed his friends of Chelsea’s interest and is speaking to them about a prospective summer transfer. The report also states that Chelsea have informed the player about their interest.
The Belgian midfielder has been one of the best players in Serie A over the last couple of seasons and is a priority target for Antonio Conte.
The blues certainly need more grit and depth in their midfielder and the Roma star would be an ideal addition. Alongside Matic and Fabregas, Nainggolan could form the foundations of a title winning midfield at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea will have to pay around 35 million pounds for his services.
Along with Nainggolan, Conte is also lining up moves for Edinson Cavani and Leonardo Bonucci. He also plans to bring Juan Cuadrado back from loan.
The Premier League champions are unlikely to qualify for next season’s Champions League and it will be interesting to see if they manage to land these targets without European football.
