LINGFIELD 1.00

COURTSIDE (system – Siyouni, 4yo+, Polytrack)

Progeny of Siyouni go well on Polytrack and also need time to mature. Had we backed those aged four or older at the four Polytrack venues – Chelmsford, Dundalk, Kempton and Lingfield – we’d have won 32 of our 156 bets (20.5% strike-rate) and made a profit of £50.98. COURTSIDE will hopefully encounter the required strong pace in this amateur riders’ handicap and is worth a small bet.

LINGFIELD 3.45

LE FORBAN (system – Showcasing, Polytrack, gelded since last run)

Progeny of the sire Showcasing do extremely well on Polytrack and those running on this surface on their first start since being gelded return a profit of £35.50 to a £1 level stake at SP. LE FORBAN has shown plenty of ability in novice company, notably when a 80-1 fifth of 12 from a poor wide draw at Kempton last time. Gelded over the winter, he looks a likely improver now handicapping on his reappearance.

KEMPTON 5.00

ON THE PULSE (system – Dragon Pulse, Kempton all-weather)

Progeny of Dragon Pulse are 20 from 130 on Kempton’s Polytrack for a profit of £64.88 to the usual £1 stake. The juveniles are seven from 34 (+£42.00) and it could be worth chancing the David Evans-trained newcomer ON THE PULSE, well drawn in stall 1 for this 5f fillies’ novice contest.

KEMPTON 6.00

ACCELERANDO (system – No Nay Never, Kempton, well drawn)

Progeny of the sire No Nay Never have a good record at Kempton, landing 15 of their 93 starts for a profit of £21.75 to a £1 level stake at SP. Those drawn in stall 6 or lower are 13 from 60 for a profit of £43.25. ACCELERANDO, drawn in stall 3 of 9 for this 7f handicap, went close over 6f here last time and looks worth a try over this longer trip.
