Horse Racing Betting Tips for Saturday November 27th:

NEWBURY 1.15

There are two horses I want to side with in this competitive handicap chase over the extended 2m6f trip – OFALLTHEGINJOINTS and COURT MASTER, numbers 9 and 13 on the racecard. The former ran well for a long way in the first-time blinkers when seventh of 13 in the Badger Beer Handicap Chase at Wincanton last time, a big improvement on his comeback effort when beaten by 73 lengths over hurdles at Uttoxeter. The sharp Wincanton track didn’t play to his strengths and it’s interesting to note that his two wins have come at Chepstow and Exeter, which, like Newbury, are galloping tracks with a two-mile circumference. Court Master returns from another wind operation and his record after having his wind tinkered with reads 311 (2-3). As ever with the excellent Spreadex website we have multiple options for getting with this pair, buying in the 50-30-20-10 spread market (currently set at 8-11 and 7-9), backing them in the fixed odds betting at 9-1 and 12-1 or buying ‘DOUBLE NUMBER OF WINNER’ (currently set at 13.25-14.75).

Recommendation: Back OFALLTHEGINJOINTS and COURT MASTER in Newbury 1.15

NEWCASTLE 2.05

THE FERRY MASTER seems best after a recent outing, recording form figures of 5111 (3-4) when returned to the track within a month of his previous outing, with the sole defeat excusable as he was an outclassed 40-1 shot in Grade 2 company. He should come on for his reappearance third at Musselburgh earlier this month and he rates a buy (the Spreadex market was set at 11-14 at the time of writing) in the 50-30-20-10 market or can be supported in the fixed odds betting at 6-1.

Recommendation: Back THE FERRY MASTER in Newcastle 2.05

FAIRYHOUSE 2.11

BROOMFIELDS JEREMY could never get competitive off a steady early gallop at Clonmel last time and though the 5-2 favourite was beaten by 21 lengths into third it was a good effort in the circumstances. The six-year-old would have needed his comeback outing when fifth at Punchestown the time before and, that run aside, has never finished out of the frame when completing the course. There’s going to be a lot more pace on today and, if his jumping holds up, it’s hard to see him finishing out of the frame. Buy with Spreadex in their 50-30-20-10 market or back each-way at 15-2 in the fixed odds betting.

Recommendation: Back BROOMFIELDS JEREMY in Fairyhouse 2.11
