Arsenal host Aston Villa at the Emirates in the Premier League on Sunday. The Gunners beat Manchester City at the Etihad in their last league game before notching up a 3-2 win over Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup. Arsene Wenger’s side are on a four match unbeaten run in all competitions and are just a point behind the final Champions League berth.

Wojciech Szczesny started against Brighton but David Ospina should take his back in the side after missing out last week as his wife was giving birth to their second child. Hector Bellerin’s ankle problem has been cleared but Calum Chambers should start in the right back role with Kieran Gibbs on the other side. New signing Gabriel Paulista could be on the bench as Per Mertesacker partners Laurent Koscielny in the heart of the defense.

Francis Coquelin partners Aaron Ramsey in the middle of the park as Santi Cazorla, Thomas Rosicky and Theo Walcott should start in the attacking triumvirate. Alex Oxlade Chamberlain has a groin injury while Alexis Sanchez is nurturing a hamstring problem. Mesut Ozil would have to be content with a place on the bench while Olivier Giroud leads the attack up front.

Here is the possible Arsenal lineup vs Aston Villa

Predictions: David Ospina has kept two clean sheets in as many games in the Premier League coming into this clash. Aston Villa do carry an attacking threat but Arsenal should win this by 3-1.
