Manchester United vs Chelsea
Premier League, 2015-16
Date: Monday, 28 December, 2015
Time: 17:30 BST
Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester
The most-anticipated game on Monday comes from Old Trafford as Manchester United take on struggling Chelsea in the Premier League.
Many of the media are speculating that failure to win this game could see Louis van Gaal sacked by midnight, with former Chelsea boss José Mourinho the favourite to replace him.
Chelsea didn’t get off to the most-promising start under interim manager Guus Hiddink on Boxing Day as they were held 2-2 at Stamford Bridge by newly-promoted Watford.
The Blues’ performance in the opposition half offered encouragement at least, with Diego Costa scoring twice and Willian looking creative. They could have taken all three points but for Oscar’s slip when taking a late penalty.
With Costa suspended for this game we could see Eden Hazard start up front after being left on the substitutes bench until the final quarter of an hour on Saturday. This makes Will Hill’s 6/1 on Hazard scoring and Chelsea winning a very tempting bet.
Earlier in the day United were comfortably beaten 2-0 at Stoke City which saw captain Wayne Rooney start from the substitutes bench.

Louis van Gaal may have to stick with the same back four that started at Stoke as Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia are no closer to making their comebacks.
Bastian Schweinsteiger is available again after injury. United have lost only two of their 15 Premier League games in which the German has featured, and all three when he hasn’t.
Jesse Lingard is the only absentee in midfield for van Gaal to deal with.

Diego Costa’s silly yellow card versus Watford means he misses this game through suspension. Radamel Falcao is the only doubt for Hiddink through injury.
That means we will see either Loïc Rémy or Eden Hazard leading the line for the visitors.
Manchester United vs Chelsea: Possible Lineups
Manchester United: David de Gea; Ashley Young, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Daley Blind; Michael Carrick, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney, Memphis Depay; Anthony Martial
Chelsea: Thibaut Courtois; Branislav Ivanović, Gary Cahill, John Terry, César Azpilicueta; Cesc Fàbregas, Nemanja Matić, Willian, Oscar, Pedro; Eden Hazard
Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Chelsea
Neither side are in any kind of form at the moment so I think we’ll see a scrappy game with neither side taking all three points. This correct score can be backed at a juicy 11/2.
