Manchester United legend confirms his next move on Twitter

ferdinand-has-united-future--moyes-ImageManchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has confirmed that he will join Queens Park Rangers in the summer transfer window.

The former England international was allowed to leave Old Trafford as a free agent after the Red Devils decided not to extend his contract. Ferdinand joins his centre-back partner Nemanja Vidci to leave United after the end of the last season.

The 25-year-old confirmed his medical with the newly promoted Premier League side on Twitter.

“Thumbs up re medical now on to the the exciting part #Signature EnRoute to Loftus Road…. #QPR,” Ferdinand tweeted.
