Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski over the last few weeks.
The highly talented central midfielder was on loan at Empoli this season and has attracted a lot of interest with his stellar performances in the Serie A.
The creative midfielder has contributed to 11 goals and assists in the Italian league this season and Liverpool could certainly use a player like that. With Jordan Henderson injured, Liverpool have missed creativity at the heart of the midfield.
According to reports, Jurgen Klopp was impressed with the player and rates him very highly. The new Liverpool manager persuaded the Liverpool owners to sign the player before someone else does.
Apparently the Merseyside giants will pay around 12 million pounds for the Polish midfielder. The report also adds that negotiations are complete between all parties and the player will sign by Wednesday.
Liverpool are also closing in on a move for the Mainz keeper Loris Karius and the Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze.
