Premier League Football ACCA Tips for Saturday

For further analysis of tomorrow’s EPL Football ACCA tips, see below:

Watford vs Manchester United – Man U to win at 1/2

Betting on Manchester United to win has turned into a real nailbiter this season, which is why we’ve left them off most of our recent Accas. Due to Harry Maguire’s awful performances, the Red Devils do regularly feature on our BTTS Acca.

That said, in the last seven matches at Vicarage Road between these two sides, Watford have won just twice, there have been no draws, while United have won five.

Neither team is capable of defending – Watford have conceded 10 goals in their last five EPL encounters, while United’s woeful defense has fared even worse, conceding 12 in the same span. As a consequence, we predict plenty of goals in this match but for Bruno Fernandes, Cristiano Ronaldo, and the rest of Man U’s star-studded attacking options to prove too much for Claudio Ranieri’s side.

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs West Ham – West Ham to win at 29/20

Hee-chan Hwang’s recent run of goal-scoring form has certainly aided a Wolves’ team that struggled to convert chances at the beginning of the season. With the Korean registering goals four times already, Bruno Lage’s side have put together a run of four wins, one draw, and one defeat in its last six EPL games, climbing up to 8th in the table after a slow start.

This kind of form from Wolverhampton Wanderers would usually sway us to bet on the home side. Unfortunately, it’s David Moyes’ high-flying West Ham that’s coming to visit on Saturday, and the Hammers’ recent form is as good as any other team in the EPL:

West Ham are undefeated in their last seven competitive fixtures; they have won four and lost just once away from the Olympic Stadium this season, and have won two successive games against Wolves, including a 3-2 away victory last season.

This should be a highly competitive game, but we’re backing West Ham to edge out a close win.

Liverpool vs Arsenal – Liverpool to win at 1/2

Emile Smith Rowe Arsenal

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been resurgent of late and are unbeaten in 10 games in all competitions. We, however, are backing Liverpool to bring the Gunners back down a peg or two at Anfield tomorrow:

Liverpool haven’t lost any of their last 14 successive games in all competitions. Jurgen Klopp’s side has taken the lion’s share of the spoils in recent matches against Arsenal, winning five, drawing twice, and losing three, and The Reds have won four of the last five home games vs the Gunners too, including a 3-0 win away at the Emirates in the most recent fixture.

Arsenal’s defense has improved exponentially of late, but can they stop Mohamed Salah from scoring? Liverpool’s Egyptian talisman has registered 15 goals in all competitions this season and has five goals and four assists in his last five EPL games.

Arsenal are looking like a very competitive side again, but Liverpool away should prove to be a stretch too far.

Newcastle United vs Brentford – Newcastle to win at 17/10

This is the leg of the Acca that we are least confident in. But, – call it a gut feeling – after watching Newcastle United slip to a run of 0-3-2 at St James Park this season, and a recent run of 12 straight games without a win, we feel that this run has to end sometime. So, with Eddie Howe now in the hot seat in the St. James dugout, why not against newly-promoted Brentford on their home patch tomorrow?

Brentford began the season in a fast and furious fashion, picking up big points against the likes of Liverpool (draw) and West Ham (win), but Thomas Frank’s team’s recent form has dipped, dramatically. Brentford are on a run of four successive defeats, most recently against the likes of Norwich and Burnley, and have conceded eight goals in their last four games.

Newcastle aren’t faring much better over the last four matches, but can at least point to a couple of draws vs Brighton and Crystal Palace as a mark of recent on-field improvements.

In short, the Magpies are likely to be in a buoyant mood following Howe’s appointment and are technically the form team heading into this one, and we’re backing them.

Aston Villa vs Brighton & Hove Albion – Villa to win at 29/20

Another close call, but with Steven Gerrard barking orders from the sideline in his first game as Villains manager, we just have a sneaking suspicion that the Aston Villa squad will be eager to impress and put in a proper performance.

Both of these teams are in poor form and, if you’re less convinced by Villa’s credentials for this match than we are, you can switch them out for Brighton with little impact on your Acca. But, we’re backing Gerrard to begin his reign in the Villa dugout with a crucial home win.
