Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini is expected to leave the club this summer, and Everton are hoping to sign him.

According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, the 26-year-old is looking for a new experience next season, and a move to Everton could be ideal.

The Toffees desperately need goalkeeping reinforcements. They must bring in competition for Jordan Pickford if they want to push for European qualification next season.

The England international has been error-prone for Everton in the last couple of years, although his form picked up towards the end of last season.

Gollini was impressive for Atalanta last year, and his performances have attracted plenty of interest from elsewhere.

Lazio and Fiorentina are keeping tabs on Gollini, but a move to the Premier League may well be appealing.

He is yet to reach his peak as a goalkeeper, and the former Aston Villa player is likely to improve further.

If Everton can sign him for a reasonable price this summer, he could prove to be a bargain in the long run.

Gollini has two years left on his current deal and will be keen to fend off the competition from the two Italian clubs and agree a fee with Atalanta.
