Arguably the most productive of European leagues in terms of producing quality players. The elite of Europe have made the most of their talent year after year. It makes one wonder, how successful Eredivisie would have been if all their players had stayed in Netherlands.

When it comes to football stadiums, there are 39 that are well known with the locals. With Ajax playing in the largest at the Amsterdam Arena (capacity: 52,960) and RKC Waalwijk playing in the smallest at the Mandemakers Stadion (capacity: 7,500).

Nine new stadiums were built during the 1990s ahead of Euro 2000, when Netherlands co-hosted with Belgium. But only two of those were selected as the veneus for the European Championships. Another six stadiums have been built in the country since the dawn of the new century.

Below is a gallery of overhead shots of the football stadiums being used in the 2012/13 Eredivisie (courtesy of Google Maps and Bing Maps).
