Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann insists he is not yet considering leaving the Spanish club, but has dropped hints that he could end up at Arsenal in the near future.

Speaking to El Mundo Deportivo, the 23-year-old said: “PSG, Juventus, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad. I do not know where I will be celebrating my 24th birthday.

“I do not think too much about that. I think about playing at the moment and nothing more.

“I did not say I wanted to leave this club. This is not the time to talk about this stuff.”

Back in the January transfer window, journalist Alfredo Duro, while speaking on Spanish TV show ‘El Chiringuito’, said that the Gunners had made a €14m bid for the highly rated winger.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger told TeleFoot that Arsenal have been “following Antoine Griezmann for a long time”.

Likewise, Manchester United are also keeping tabs on the winger, with United scout Friio telling French paper L’Equipe that getting Griezmann would be something.

Real Sociedad however, are unwilling to sell the player below their asking price of €30m.

One thing we can deduce from the Griezmann quotes is that the player is aware of Arsenal’s interest, and has kept the Gunners as one of his possible destinations.

We will have to wait and see whether Arsene Wenger (if he stays) moves for him in the summer or not.
