Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Belgian has had a disappointing season with the Blues last year but the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid were thought to be interested in him.

However, the world class winger has now confirmed that he will stay at Chelsea for next season. Hazard said that he cannot guarantee that he will stay 100%, but he is 99% certain of staying at Stamford Bridge.

“If I tell you I’m staying at Chelsea with 100 percent certainty, this is not the case,” the Belgian captain said.

“For now, I’m 100 percent sure I’ll compete at the Euros. After, I will think of Chelsea. But I want to finish well at the club. So like Thibaut [Courtois], I will be at Chelsea 99 percent next season”.

“We all know my season. I will not repeat, it was bad. But now it’s over and I’m focusing for the Euro”.
Hazard blamed his injury issues for the poor season he had and said that the last time he felt completely fit was against PSG in the Champions league. However, he added that he feels completely fine now and is focused on the Euros.

“The last game where I gave everything was against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. After that I was injured. And this is where the season has just ended for Chelsea”.

“So I took my time to get back to fitness. I will attack the challenge of the European Championship in full possession of my faculties”.

So unless something remarkable happens, we can expect him to continue in England next season.

New manager Antonio Conte will be delighted to hear that his player is ready to stay at Chelsea and is completely fit.

Furthermore, Hazard wished Jose Mourinho luck with Manchester United and praised him as a manager.

“He is a fantastic manager. I wish him good luck. I would really want to play against his team,” Hazard added.

In other news, Roma President Walter Sabatini has confirmed that Chelsea are in talks with the Italian club regarding the transfer of Kurt Zouma.

The young French defender is considered as the best centre back of his age in Europe and it will be quite strange if Chelsea let him go.

Despite his horrible injury from last season, he is young enough to recover completely and could be a major asset for Antonio Conte.

Roma are hoping to use his injury as a bargaining chip as they plan to replace their German defender Antonio Rudiger. Roma began talks to sign Zouma back in April.
