Let’s see now…

I count 5 concluded transfers, another transfer mooted for this weekend and at least one more to happen this summer.

Before I give you guys the list, note that no one has been sold yet. There are rumours, but at least Gallas and Drogba are not leaving. As for Crespo? Who knows…

On to the Chelsea signings…

They got Ballack from Bayern Munich for free, but on a 130,000 pounds per week deal.

They have Shevchenko from AC Milan now on a deal expected to be worth 30-31 mil pounds.

They have Salomon Kalou from Feyenoord on a 3 mil pound deal.

They have agreed terms with Portuguese keeper Hilario who will join them when his contract ends with Nacional this summer. He will replace Pidgely in the squad, who will move in search of first-team football.

And this one you probably never heard of….Ben Sahar, a striker from Hapoel Tel-Aviv, signed up for 300,000. Go Chelsea youth team, go Frank Arnesen…you know Frank right? Kenyon poached him from Tottenham to head up Chelsea’s youth academy.

Speaking of the youth academy…Obi Mikel – that little rat who signed for United only to have his agent show him a lot of money and screw his little brain up bad (sounds like Essien and Robben to me), is about to come ‘home’ to Chelsea soon. He was, according to the Times newspaper, at Stamford Bridge last night and has agreed terms with the club.

The deal will be worth at least 12 mil, with 10 mil or more going to United as compensation. Well, at least we get some money out of this mess.

And the search for a decent left back continues as the media trumpets Jose’s interest in Ashley Cole, while Mourinho himself has spent some time talking to the media about how age is not a barrier and that he thinks Roberto Carlos is the best in his position and etc etc. I seriously doubted this at the beginning, but it looks like Mourinho just might be able to bring in Carlos to Chelsea.

That makes it a problem for Mourinho on another end – not only does he have to juggle his midfield to make sure that Lampard, Ballack, Cole and Essien get maximum games (and dont forget Robben, Makelele and Duff there) and somehow work Drogba and Shevchenko together, he would also have to fit in Carvalho and Gallas in the second center-back spot (the other one’s taken by Terry, remember?). More on Chelsea’s potential formations later.

For now, I’m just waiting for Chelsea to start selling. SWP could go, Carlton Cole is certain to go, so is Gudjohnsen. Crespo wants to leave as well.

It’s a bloody circus, and as long as Chelsea aren’t beating Manchester United, I’m loving this show.
