Chelsea’s Eden Hazard has been hitting the headlines this season with consistently brilliant performances for the Blues, and with a number of European big-guns reportedly keeping watch over him as we approach the summer transfer window, the Belgian is set to be offered a bumper new deal to stay in the Premier League.

According to the Daily Express, Chelsea want to remove any possibility of their young star jumping ship come the summer, and are prepared to make him the joint highest earner at the club, alongside Fernando Torres.

Hazard has been quite scintillating at times, and has bagged 13 goals and 10 assists in the league so far. With the likes of PSG and Real Madrid linked with a big-money swoop, Chelsea are set to put forward a new four or five year deal to keep their man for the foreseeable future.

The 23-year-old had worried Blues fans this week after posting a picture of his torn-up sock and ankle from the 2-0 Champions League win over Galatasaray midweek, with many concerned the winger will be out of the upcoming Premier League clash against Arsenal this weekend.

What do you think? Would Chelsea miss him against the Gunners? Is he good enough to warrant being the club’s top earner? Let me know in the comments below…
