Chelsea have been linked with a move for Roma’s Belgian powerhouse Radja Nainggolan over the last few weeks and now the Blues have agreed on a deal to sign the 27-year-old.

English newspaper Mirror are claiming that Chelsea have agreed on a transfer after lengthy negotiations with the club, the player, and his representatives.

The report also states that Nainggolan was top priority for the new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte. The former Juventus manager will take charge at Stamford Bridge after the Euros this summer.

Nainggolan has been one of the best midfielders in Serie A over the last couple of seasons and was a target for several other European clubs.

The 27-year-old will add much need steel and defensive protection to Chelsea’s midfield alongside Fabregas and Matic.

Mirror are claiming that Chelsea held intense talks with the player and the club over the last 48 hours and believe that they have secured the player for this summer.

Nainggolan is keen on the move to the Premier League now and has agreed to a 5-year-deal with the Premier League champions. Chelsea will pay 28 million pounds for his services.
