Which football team (club or international) delivered the most outstanding performances in the year of 2008?

Was it Juventus, who stormed to 3rd place in the Serie A after spending an year in Serie B?

Was it the Brazilian Women’s Team, who were arguably the best Womens’ football team in 2008? Or Spain, winners of Euro 2008?

Manchester United won the double but slipped in the league in the first half of 2008 and weren’t at their best in the second half. Chelsea were quite good till the Champions League final and have been imposing in the start of the new season, but have little to show for it just yet.

Or is it Zenit, UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup Champions?
