After weeks of negotiations and speculations it seems Pedro will finally make his move. Initially destined for Manchester United, it appears that the Blues have hijacked the transfer only a day after swooping in.

Manchester United had prolonged discussions with Barcelona over the transfer, but have now lost out on their second target after Otamendi, due to haggling over a few million euros.

Barcelona were after 30 million euros for Pedro, but United only agreed to offer 25 million euros.

MARCA are also claiming that Pedro is in London now and will undergo his Chelsea medical, before joining up with his teammates.

Daily Mail have also confirmed the deal now.

Losing out on Pedro will be a huge blow to Manchester United who were hoping to add his goals and creativity to their side.

United’s need for a pacey, creative forward on the right is no secret and Pedro seemed like an ideal fit. Although United might not agree with Barcelona’s valuation, losing out on a player like him, to your rivals, for 5 million euros is inexcusable and foolish.

Manchester United have already lost out on Nicolas Otamendi to Manchester City.

The Argentine is supposed to have his City medical today and the deal should be made official soon.
