Andrew found ROCK OF FAME (placed at 50-1) from his picks on Thursday and has four more selections at Newbury, Chelmsford and Dundalk on Friday November 26th:

NEWBURY 12.40

NASSALAM (system – damsire Shirocco, chases)

NASSALAM fought on gamely to score narrowly at Ascot on his chase debut, despite jumping out to his left on the right-handed track. There should be improvement to come for the switch to this left-handed venue and he can maintain his 100% record over fences. It’s a very small sample but chasers with Shirocco as their damsire have form figures of 11F12 (3-5).

CHELMSFORD 4.45

MAWINGO (system – Rae Guest, second-time out 2yos)

Rae Guest’s juveniles usually need their first outing and that was certainly the case with MAWINGO, who missed the break and ran green when a 28-1 ninth of 12 at Wolverhampton on his debut 13 days ago. Since the beginning of 2012, his trainer’s second-time-out two-year-olds have a five from 18 record on the all-weather for a profit of £39.60 to a £1 level stake at SP. Five of the beaten horses were placed, two of them at 33-1, and a small each-way interest could pay dividends.

CHELMSFORD 5.15

SPEYCASTER (system – Ralph Beckett well-drawn Chelmsford runners)

Ralph Beckett does well at Chelmsford, scoring with 28 of his 132 runners (21.2% strike-rate) for a profit of £43.16 to a £1 level stake at SP. Had we only backed those drawn in stall 7 or lower we’d have won 27 of our 103 bets (26.2%) and made £64.16. SPEYCASTER fared best of those to come from off the pace when a 22-1 third at Bath last time and can get off the mark on his all-weather debut.

DUNDALK 7.30

BRADESCO (system – older colts in all-weather handicaps)

Since the start of 2018, backing older colts (four-year-olds and older) in all-weather handicaps would have found 130 winners from 736 bets (17.7% strike-rate) for a profit of £74.37 to a £1 level stake at SP. Backing those at the best early odds the evening before racing would have returned a profit of £221.80. BRADESCO contributed with course wins at 11-2 and 2-1 earlier this month and can complete his hat-trick.
