Agreement Reached: Manchester United midfielder set for transfer

According to reports from the trusted and reliable Gianluca Di Marzio website, Turkish Giants Fenerbahce have reached an agreement to sign our of favour Manchester United winger Nani for a fee of around €6m.

The 28 year old impressed in his season long loan spell at Sporting Lisbon but the Portuguese side couldn’t make the move permanent as they were unable to meet the player’s £110,000-a-week wages. Nani was also nominated as Sporting’s Footballer of the Year

Nani was in fine form for Sporting scoring 11 goals in 35 appearances but he had been told earlier that he doesn’t feature in Louis Van Gaal’s plans at Old Trafford. The Red Devils are already well stocked with wingers Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Angel Di Maria and Adnan Januzaj while they have also signed Memphis Depay for a £25m fee.

Nani was one of United’s prolific players under Sir Alex Ferguson, scoring 40 goals and providing 73 assists in 230 appearances for the club. He has also won four Premier League titles and a Champions League crown amongst various other honours. He was then handed a five year contract by formr United manager David Moyes in 2013

The Telegraph had reported a couple of days ago that Nani’s agent Luca Bascherini had alcimed that talks are going well with Fenerbahce. Bascherini said: “We held talks with Terraneo [Fenerbahçe Sporting Director] regarding Nani he had lengthy negotiations. Terraneo is a man who knows what he wants and how to get it.”

As reports claim, Fenerbache already have an agreement to sign the player, expect Nani to seal his move in the coming days.
