Juventus striker Alvaro Morata has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer and Chelsea are looking to secure his services.

The former Real Madrid striker is no longer first choice under Max Allegri and wants a move away from Turin.

The Spanish international is a target for Manchester United and Arsenal as well and could cost around 60 million Euros this summer. A clause in his current contract allows Real Madrid to purchase him for 30 million Euros and the European champions plan to sign him and then sell him for a profit immediately.

Chelsea are looking to strengthen their strike-force this summer and want to sign the Juventus striker regardless of the price.

According to latest reports, Chelsea are willing to pay up to 60 million Euros for Morata and the player is also keen on the move.

Morata is apparently willing to give up Champions League football for one season in order to sign for the Blues. Chelsea failed to qualify for next season’s Champions League after finishing in mid table last season.

Earlier there were reports that Morata prefers a move to Manchester United because of Mourinho and if the Red Devils register their interest in the player with a formal offer, there could very well be a bidding war this summer.
