Tottenham Hotspur are thought to be considering a move to bring Mauricio Pochettino back to the club this summer.

According to the Sun, the 49-year-old Argentine manager is now considering a return to a London club because he is unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain and wants a second chance at Tottenham.

Star striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from Spurs this summer, and Pochettino’s return could play a key role in securing the 27-year-old’s future.

Pochettino was integral to the England international’s development and may convince the striker to stay at the London club.

His return could also play a big role in Dele Alli’s future. The midfielder has struggled to hit top form since Pochettino left Spurs, and he could unlock his potential once again.

Tottenham played some of their best football under Pochettino, with the Argentine manager guiding them to the final of the Champions League in 2019.

The Londoners sacked Jose Mourinho earlier in the season, and former midfielder Ryan Mason is currently the interim boss.

Spurs have been linked with Julian Nagelsmann, Maurizio Sarri, Antonio Conte, Eric ten Hag and Gennaro Gattuso in recent months, but none of those appointments are likely to happen.

Pochettino was admired during his time at the London club, and his return would certainly be welcomed by the fanbase. Here is how fans reacted to the news.
