Manchester United manager, Louis Van Gaal has claimed that young attacking midfielder, Adnan Januzaj is not for sale.
Januzaj has been linked with a move away from Manchester United this summer and it seems the United manager is keen to hold on.
Lack of game time fuelled speculations that Januzaj could be set for a loan move to Sunderland. However, the Belgian got his first start of the season against Aston Villa and scored the winner yesterday.
Van Gaal has now claimed that the player is not for sale and he plans to use every player in his squad.
“He’s still not for sale.
“I have 28 players and I have to select every week and maybe every three days.
“Last week I chose other players. He is doing his utmost best, all the players are doing that. I don’t have any complaints.”
Januzaj will be happy to stay at Manchester United if he keeps getting his chances like he did this week. The Belgian looked sharp and decisive against Villa and scored the only goal of the game.
Despite struggling with fitness, the Belgian looked a constant threat along with Juan Mata.
Later, Januzaj claimed that he was not fully fit due to the lack of games, but he is getting there and will be better in the next game.
