Italian giants Juventus are plotting a move for Manchester United winger Nani, according to reports from Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

According to the report, the Bianconeri are keen on luring him to Turin in the January transfer window and could offer striker Mirko Vucinic to Manchester United in exchange.

The Montenegrin is no longer a first team regular at Juventus and could be looking to leave the club, should an opportunity arise. On the other hand, Nani is also struggling with regular games at Old Trafford and therefore, a swap deal option would suit best for all interested parties.

The 27-year-old has only managed five league appearances so far and yet to score a goal or provide an assist. Nani has been restricted to fringe roles behind Valencia, Kagawa and Januzaj while Ashley Young’s recent good form meant he would drop further down the pecking orders at Old Trafford.

According to O Jogo, Juventus are ready to match Nani’s salary of €4m/year and want him to help Antonio Conte qualify for next season’s champions League.

While Manchester United could be willing to let Nani go, but a swap deal is highly unlikely. The Red Devils have an avalanche of forwards on their ranks and David Moyes won’t be interested in crowding that area unnecessarily.
