Manchester United, irrespective of their league position this season, is expected to spend heavily next summer to bolster their squad. The Red Devils will be mainly focusing on improving the central midfield department, as it needs an immediate surgery.

United were heavily liked with several German midfielders like Marco Reus and Ilkay Gundogan, and now The Mirror reports that the Old Trafford giants are ready to lure Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich with a staggering £250,000-per-week contract.

Like the other two Germans mentioned above, Krros is believed to be one of the prime targets of Moyes as well. Kroos, who was sensational against Arsenal in the Champions League, is thought to be unsettled at the Allianz Arena, as his personal demands are at cross with the club’s likings that has fuelled the rumours of his probability of leaving the club, with his contract set to expire in 2015.

Money is not an issue with Manchester United and the Red Devils are more than prepared to pay him his desired wages, and meet his £30m transfer value as well. Several high earning players are expected to leave the club in the summer which would allow United to offer such lucrative contracts.
