Regular readers of Soccerlens might be knowing that we are a big fan of Le 10 sport magazine. Not because they cover excellent articles, but they are a great generator of transfer rumours, which often makes laugh, cringe, shout – and we like to share with you guys as well.

And you also must be knowing, we have covered this Edinson Cavani saga to a huge extent. Le 10 Sport have bee claiming since the start of this year that he is unhappy at PSG because he has been asked to play out wide and not in his favourite lone striker role.

The Uruguayan was linked with Chelsea, as a part exchange deal for Eden Hazard. However with the Blue signing Diego Costa and handing Hazard a contract extension such rumours were thrown into the bin. Now comes the turn of Manchester United.

The Guardian reported in April that Manchester United have set their sights on Cavani and would be willing to pay up to €60m for his signature. Le 10 sport came up with a suggestion in their last two magazine issues that PSG could be encouraged to sell, should United include Wayne Rooney as a part of the deal.

Now, Sky Sports reporter Simone Rovera, relayed by Le 10 Sport, believes Cavani could leave PSG, if any potential suitor offer €80m.

PSG need money to buy Angel di Maria from Real Madrid and one way of recouping money is by selling Cavani. However, €80m is a ridiculous sum, which Manchester United or for that matter any top European club will never pay that amount.
