Manchester United midfielder Anderson pulled from burning car

Manchester United midfielder Anderson has been pulled from a burning car unconscious, according to reports.

The crash, which occurred on Saturday in Portugal, saw the Brazilian sent to hospital after sustaining minor injuries, being released several hours later. Two others, a man and a women, are thought to have been in the Audi R8 with the 22 year-old when it hit a brick wall, before landing in a field.

Police are now investigating, with the £18 million youngster said to have been partying over night at the Sardinha Biba nightclub.

The Gestifute agency, which represents the player, are quoted to have said the former Porto player received an “almighty scare”, according to the Portuguese press.
