Manchester United and Manchester City have both been given a boost after their target Alessio Cerci claimed that he will decide on his future in the summer.

The Torino winger has attracted a host of big names from all over Europe with his Champions League semi finalists Atletico Madrid sending scouts to watch him this weekend. The 26 year old Italian didn’t disappoint as his 25 yard screamer gave Torino a last gasp win over Genoa on Sunday.

Cerci has an integral member of the Torino side who have been brilliant this season as the Turin club are currently seventh in the Serie A standings and pushing for European football next season. The winger has hit the back of the net 13 times and also grabbed 9 assists to his credit in 31 appearances this season.

The £16m rated star recently admitted that he was ready for Champions League football.

“I feel ready to play in the Champions League. I’m mature, I think the time may be ripe to take a step up in quality.”

Manchester City are interested to land the Italian while Manchester United sent scouts to see him in action during last month’s international friendly between Italy and Nigeria.

Cerci has also admitted that his future is undecided and says he will be ready to consider offers.

“I know that the key opportunities can come and I have to be ready to consider them. I do not think money is the only thing that counts in football, the important thing is to feel good.”

Football Italia however claims that Cerci isn’t willing to talk about his future.

“I don’t want to talk about the market. My mind is here in Turin. I want to do as well as possible, and thinking about the future could distract me from doing that. We will think about the future at the end of the season. But I want to reiterate that I feel great here.”

Gianluca Di Marzio, reporter for Sky Sports in Italy also revealed that a lot of foreign clubs are interested in the flashy winger who can change any game by the scruff of the neck.

Champions League holders Bayern Munich are also interested with Pep Guardiola instructing the German club to prepare the groundwork for a move at the end of the season.

So what do you think? Where will Cerci move in the summer? Or will he change his mind and stay in Turin?
