The Manchester United keeper has been linked with a move to Spain all summer and it seems he might get his wish after all.

Real Madrid are keen to replace club legend, Iker Casillas with the former Atletico Madrid man and have been in talks with Manchester United all summer. However, United’s  £33m asking price has stalled the deal.

With United not willing to drop their asking price, Real Madrid are playing a waiting game.

According to Louis Van Gaal, David De Gea has refused to play for Manchester United. The player is frustrated with the speculations surrounding his future and is keen to find a solution as soon as possible.

The player’s agent Jorge Mendes is in Manchester and is working towards a transfer.

According to Mail, De Gea is determined to get his move and is confident about it.

Real Madrid are willing to wait until next summer if Manchester United do not lower their demands. The Spaniard will be available on a free transfer next summer.

It would perhaps be wise of United to cash in on their prized asset this summer, as opposed to losing a world class player on a free transfer.

Mail believe that a compromise will be reached in the next few days and David De Gea could soon be unveiled as a Real Madrid signing.
