Sergio Aguero scored the only goal of the match as Manchester City registered a narrow win over their local rivals Manchester United at the Etihad on Sunday.
Louis van Gaal’s side started the game on a brighter note until centre-back Chris Smalling was sent off in the first half. United were 10-man for the most part of the match and they did possess threat to the Premier League champions, despite going a goal down in the last half hour of the match.
The victory for City ended their three match winless run, while United are without a win in the last two matches. There were mixed emotions after the match on social networking sites and we bring you few reactions from the fans after the final whistle was blown at the Etihad.

At the end, what I take is not the lost but the team spirit we showed. Let's keep the same spirit and we'll surely shine. #MUFCvMCFC

This referee won't give City a penalty until Aguero has both legs severed. #MUFCvMCFC
