Manchester United have delayed announcing the squad numbers for next season.

Reports claim that the Old Trafford outfit do not want to change them after the transfer window and are therefore waiting for the Paul Pogba transfer to be completed before the numbers are given out.

The French international prefers wearing the number 15 shirt, which is available at Manchester United.

Furthermore, Ibrahimovic could take Juan Mata’s number 8 shirt next season and the club have therefore decided for all transfers to be completed before releasing the numbers for the replica shirts.

The Juventus midfielder has been linked with a move to Real Madrid as well, but several reports are claiming that a move to Manchester United is very close. The Premier League side will pay a record breaking fee for their former youth player.

English media claim that Jose Mourinho is close to completing a 105 million pounds deal for the French international and he will earn around 200,000 pounds per week.

The report adds that Pogba will complete the move after returning from his holiday and Raiola has already sorted out the personal terms after discussion with the United chiefs. The player could sign his United contract as early as today.

Italian journalists have also backed up this claim and are reporting that a transfer is indeed very close.

Pogba is a world class player and will be an outstanding addition to any side in world football. It seems that United have finally convinced the midfield star to return to the Premier League.

Yesterday there were reports that everything is almost done for the transfer to be completed.

Jose Mourinho will be aiming for the Premier League title next season and with the likes of Rooney, Ibrahimovic, Martial, Mkhitaryan, Bailly, De Gea and Pogba at his disposal, the Portuguese tactician will give any side a run for their money.
