Adnan Januzaj is not only the hottest property in England at the moment but he is the hottest subject of discussion at the moment as well. His contract situation has yet to be resolved that has given birth to wild transfer rumours with the player has been linked with several top European clubs. Further, England manager Roy Hodgson has dropped a clanger saying he would be considering the possible options of taking him into the England side, should he become a homegrown product.
Belgium national team coach Marc Wilmots has been told by the club that Januzaj is not yet ready to commit his international future to the country of his birth at the moment. The 18-year-old caught the eye-balls after scoring a brace against Sunderland last weekend.
Wilmots said ahead of Belgium’s clash against Croatia in Zagreb as quoted in The Guardian:
“Manchester United told me that Januzaj has not made a decision to play for a national team yet,, not for any country,”
“We gave a clear signal [that we want him to play for Belgium] and now it’s up to him. I will respect his choice.”
Meanwhile, the youngster has been attracting attentions from several European heavy weights including Barcelona. United are desperate to keep him and are eager to pay hefty wages for his services.
