Croatian midfielder Ante Coric is a man in demand this summer.

Zagreb’s young attacking midfielder is a target for Barcelona, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool after his impressive displays last season.

The 19 year old is one of the most talented players of his age and is already making a name for himself at the international stage. Coric is a part of Croatia’s Euro 2016 squad.

Daily Mail are claiming that Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp are looking to sign the young midfielder this summer and would be willing to match Zagreb’s demands for the Croatian. Zagreb are looking for a fee of 10 million pounds plus add ons for the 19 year old.

The report also adds that Jurgen Klopp has spoken with Coric personally in order to persuade him to join Liverpool this summer.

Coric is a technically gifted attacking midfielder who usually operates from in behind the striker. His flair, intelligence and close control means he can play as a winger as well.

Mail also claim that Chelsea have sent scouts on several occasions to run the rule over the Zagreb star last season.

As things stand, Liverpool and Manchester City are the only clubs aggressively pursuing the Croatian midfielder and it will be interesting to see who the player picks if it comes down to his choice.

Coric would probably struggle to get regular game time at Manchester City, with the likes of Silva, De Bruyne and Sterling already present. But at Liverpool, he could easily replace Adam Lallana in the first team.
