According to Merseyside based Outlet Liverpool Echo, the Reds are plotting a summer move for long term Arsenal target Pedro. The Barcelona winger has been linked with a move to the Premier League for a long time and it is believed that Brendan Rodgers could make a move for the winger in the coming summer.

Pedro has had limited game time this season despite scoring 10 goals but the arrival of Luis Suarez has seen him lose his place in the starting eleven. Pedro was quoted to Spanish newspaper Sport saying, “The truth is that it’s complicated for those of us who play less.”

“But when I go out [to play], I always give it all, the of me. It’s my way of being; I never give up. You have to thing make things complicated for the coach when it comes to choosing the starting players.”

Liverpool Echo have also cited English outlet Mirror claiming that the Anfield side could also move for free agent Andre Ayew in the summer.

The Marseille midfielder was heavily linked with Napoli in the summer while there is also interest from Everton, Newcastle and Borussia Dortmund. Ayew’s contract with the French side ends in the summer and the Reds could help themselves to a massive coup if they acquire Ayew’s signature in the upcoming transfer window. Ayew was also his country’s stand out player in the African cup of Nations as he helped his side reach the final.

James Whaling of the Daily Mirror also states that Glen Johnson could be on his way out of the club in the summer after talks for a new deal has faltered. the English International whose contract is set to expire in June could move to Italian side Roma who are interested in his services.

Finally, Liverpool are lining up Roma’s Miralem Pjanic as a replacement ofr the departing Steven Gerrard. However the player would cost a massive £37m. Pjanic has also been linked with Manchester United. The recent developments come despite the Serbian earlier saying no to Liverpool in January.
