Italian giants Juventus have joined the race to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, who is a January transfer target of Arsenal.

The race for Alvaro Morata is hot, with new reports emerging each and every day. The 21-year-old has had a tough season for the Los Blancos, as he struggled to get regular game time for the men in Whites.

The youngster, who is primarily seen as a second fiddle to main striker Karim Benzema, has further dropped down the pecking orders behind another talented youngster Jese Rodriguez.

Morata didn’t say explicitly that he wants a move elsewhere, but has hinted of such possibility in search of regular first team actions. Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has strongly denied that the player will move in the January, insisting that he would say ‘NO’ to any club approaching for Morata.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger also refused to comment on this subject clearly, but reports in Spain suggested yesterday that the player’s agent was in London to conclude a deal with either Arsenal or Tottenham.

Now, today, Spanish newspaper Sport claims that Serie A giants Juventus have also joined the race to sign the youngster on a temporary basis.

In any case, Madrid will not allow any permanent move for the highly rated youngster at the moment but a loan move could still be a possibility.
