Jose Mourinho has been sacked as Chelsea manager according to BBC journalist, Dan Roan.

The Chelsea manager was under tremendous pressure to turn it around after a disastrous start to the season and it appears that the board has finally run out of patience with him.

Chelsea have been linked with the likes of Guus Hiddink, Juande Ramos, Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone.

However the likelihood of Guardiola and Simeone coming in right away is almost impossible and it seems like there will be a caretaker installed for the remainder of the season.

The report has now been confirmed by the likes of BBC and Daily Mail.
