Guillem Balague has absolutely raved about Junior Firpo with the Barcelona left-back set to join Leeds United this summer.
The Daily Mail claims that the 24-year-old is close to moving to Elland Road in a £13 million deal.
Those who really know and understand football are well aware of just how good Firpo is.
Some fans question his ability after he endured a tough time at Camp Nou with Barca last season.
The truth of the matter is that he just wasn’t given enough chances to impress.
He made just three La Liga starts for Barcelona, often being asked to come off the bench in his two seasons at Camp Nou.
Compare that with his time at Real Betis, and it’s obvious that he needs regular games.
In 24 La Liga outings during his final season at Estadio Benito Villamarin, Firpo racked up three goals and four assists.
He averaged 1.6 tackles, one interception and 1.5 clearances per match during this appearances.

He certainly has the talent, and more opportunities for regular action at Leeds will undoubtedly help bring out the best in him.
