Can Liverpool and Tottenham do better than Man City in Europe?

The last round of Europa League fixtures sees the European chances of many teams hanging in the balance.

Liverpool will be looking for a big performance from their young side as they go away to Udinese. Liverpool need a solid win over the Italian side to progress to the next stage of the competition ahead of Young Boys who currently sit one place below them in Group A.

Atletico Madrid and Plzen have taken the top two spots in Group B meaning there is only pride to play for in the remaining fixtures. Fenerbahce and Borussia Monchengladbach are already through from Group C. Marseille could pull level with the Germans on points but Monchengladbach have the better head to head record.

Newcastle will be looking to finish of life in Group D with a trip to current group leaders Bordeaux. Both sides are already through to the next stage of the tournament but a win for either will see them cemented as the top side in the group which means a slightly more favourable draw in the next round.

VFB Stuttgart and FC Copenhagen are battling for second place in Group E of the Europa League. German side Stuttgart currently hold a one point advantage over the Danes. If the sides finish level on points then it will be Stuttgart going through to the next stage.

The Group F table is a sealed deal with Dnipro and Napoli through. Basel are the favourites to progress from Group G along with Genk. Basel travel to Genk in their final group game and need at least a point to be sure of qualification through to the next stage.

Rubin Kazan and Inter Milan are likely to make a number of changes for their final group games with Rubin Kazan through as group winners on 13 points and Inter Milan through on ten points. Lyon have already won Group I of the tournament and Sparta Prague go through with them.

Lazio and Tottenham are battling for first place from Group J. Lazio have nine points with Spurs on seven and Panathinaikos could still catch Tottenham as they have five points. Spurs will be confident as they host the Greek side at home with a winning guaranteeing their place in the next round.

Metalist Kharkiv and Bayer Leverkusen are the two teams through from Group K, Kharkiv won the last match between the two sides which means they are set to win the group. Hannover and Levante have gone through from Group L and will meet in Spain to determine who wins the group.
