Everton striker Richarlison has spoken about his admiration for Marco Silva.
Speaking to Globo Esporte, he revealed that the Portuguese manager has helped him a lot and he could follow Silva to a new club in future as well.
Richarlison says that working for Silva has helped him overcome the language barrier as well.
The striker believes that the Everton manager would take him to his new club as well if he were to leave the Toffees in future.
He said: “For me, he was very important in my arrival. Even for being Portuguese, and I understand his speech. Because you often get there, find an English coach, and we don’t know English yet. So that helped me a lot in the adaptation. I’m a trustworthy guy, wherever he goes, I think he’ll take me. He trusts me, and I trust him. From the first call he made, when I was in Rio still. This relationship is very important. And I’m able to help him a lot on the pitch and contribute for what he’s doing for me.”
These comments will certainly worry the Everton fans. Richarlison’s loyalty towards Silva could cost them a good player in future.
The Brazilian left Watford to join up with the Portuguese manager at Everton and he might do the same for another club in future.
Meanwhile, Silva has had a poor start to his Everton career and if he loses his job in summer, there will be speculations surrounding Richarlison’s future.
The Brazilian is currently the best player at the club and losing him would be a damaging blow for the Toffees.
