Chelsea completed the signings of Alexandre Pato and Matt Miazga last week and the Blues aren’t likely to sign any more players before the window slums shut on Monday night.

However, there could be few players moving out of Chelsea in the next few hours on loan. One of them could be Serbian midfielder Danilo Pantic.

According to reports from Portugal newspaper A Bola, Benfica are reportedly interested in signing the young Serbian, who joined Chelsea this season on a free transfer from Partizan Belgrade.

The 19-year-old was sent on loan immediately to Dutch club Vitesse where he made just six league appearances for them. Benfica are confident that a deal can be reached today. And should the transfer go through, Pantic will become the second Serbian to arrive at Benfica this season after Luka Jovic.

We do not know what the nature of the deal be like, but can fairly guess it would be a short term loan deal, as Pantic still has more than three years remaining on his Chelsea contract.
