According to French magazine Le 10 sport, French Champions Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a mega offer (€48m move) for Chelsea play-maker Juan Mata. The Spaniard, who was such an influential figure for the club last season, has been given a cold shoulder by manager Jose Mourinho.

In October, Goal.com reported that PSG are targeting a move for Mata and are preparing a bid worth £35 million for the play maker. It was reported that Chelsea are unwilling to sell the player to any Premier League rivals, but could be willing to listen to offers from foreign club for the 25-year-old.

Further, Mata could be ready to ship the jump as well, despite the fact he has repeatedly said he is happy at the club. With World Cup approaching, he might look for opportunities elsewhere where he would be guaranteed regular stating line-up berth.

Moving to other stories, Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard has insisted that fellow countrymen and club team-mate Kevin De Bruyne must more elsewhere in January in order to get regular game time for his own good. Read the full story here.

And finally, Belgian midfielder Axel Witsel has alerted top flight clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United, by revealing his ambitions to play in the Premier League.

He said as quoted by Belgian newspaper Sportwereld translated by Sport Witness:

“I hope for a big club. I also see my teammates playing at teams like Chelsea or Manchester United… There will come a day when one of those clubs will show interest and I can leave. My preference goes out to the Premier League. Not because half the national team is playing there, but because competition is the most watched.”
