Chelsea tickets can be hard to find, with the club regularly selling out when they play at Stamford Bridge, London.
With a stadium capacity of just under 42,000 and a boom in support since Roman Abramovich’s takeover, it is easy to see why tickets for Chelsea’s home games would be hard to source.
Read on as we look at how and where to buy Chelsea FC tickets.

Tickets for Chelsea’s home Premier League game go on sale 42 days before the match. Tickets can be applied for as follows (subject to availability):
- Week 1 – one ticket per member

Domestic Cup/European home matches

Chelsea run a priority scheme for customers who collect loyalty points during the season, with tickets going on sale as detailed above.
Fans can apply for tickets based on the number of loyalty points earned, with the total reduced until all tickets are sold or all customers in the relevant categories have had the opportunity to apply for tickets.
Chelsea Tickets Exchange
The Chelsea Tickets Exchange allows season ticket holders to sell their seats on a match-by-match basis to other season ticket holders and members.
Tickets are placed on sale at 10.00am on the day the fixture goes on sale, and off sale at 3.00pm the last working day before the match takes place.
All tickets purchased through this scheme are limited to one per member, with all transactions processed by the ticket office.
The Chelsea FC website contains a separate login area for the ticket exchange which you can access using your season ticket/membership number.
Tickets are listed at the full match ticket price for members, in exactly the same format as if you were purchasing through the ticket office.
Once you have completed the transaction your tickets will be posted to you, subject to there being enough time to receive them.
Failing this, tickets can be collected from the ticket office on presentation of your season ticket or membership card, photographic ID and confirmation email.
