This summer is massive for Chelsea. While a massive rebuilding program is certain to take place, Jose Mourinho will be looking to sculpt the squad to his own taste. If the reports are to be believed, the Blues are already closing in on Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa, while several top players could be sold out as well.

And one of them could be Brazilian defender David Luiz. The 27-year-old former Benfica defender is a long term target of Barcelona while Thiago Silva, the Brazilian skipper stated recently that he wants to see Luiz joining PSG.

When Luiz was asked recently to comment on his future, he said “Only God knows my future”, and now Brazilian website Lancenet reports he is all set to join Barcelona, and that the deal will be announced after the World Cup.

The information was relayed by sources close to the Catalan club, but the details of his transfer, that is the length of his contract and the transfer fee, are not yet known.
