Chelsea took an early lead and eventually pulled away in the second half to go top of the English Premier League table.
The first half saw goals from both sides as Chelsea’s Alex scored in the 16th minute but West Ham leveled it in the 30th minute as Scott Parker scored.
West Ham were outplayed from the start but were able to keep it close in the first half. The second half was a different story as Chelsea would get two goals from Didier Drogba (56th and 90th minute) plus one goal from Flaurent Malouda (77th minute) to seal the three points.
It was a solid win for Chelsea who are back in first place and looking to capture the EPL trophy in May.
