Santi Cazorla has been vital for Arsenal this season

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has been ranked as the best passer in the Premier League, according to EA Sports performance index.

According to the EA Sports passing charts, Cazorla’s teammates Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil are not far behind either.

The Spaniard has been running the show for Arsenal, at the middle of the park this season and has been ranked as the most incisive passer in the division.

EA Sports Player Performance Index examined the performances of players who have completed the most number of passes in the opposition half this season, and have prepared a top 10 list according to the statistics.

Cazorla sits on top of the list with 413 completed passes. His teammates Mesut Ozil (302) and Aaron Ramsey (286) are also ranked in top ten.

Surprisingly there are no Manchester United players on that list. Given the likes of Herrera, Carrick and Schweinsteiger in their side, United could have done better in the final third.

Furthermore, along with three representatives from Arsenal, Premier League runners up Manchester City are leading the way in terms of best passing in the opposition final third.

The likes of Aleksandar Kolarov, Yaya Toure, David Silva and Fernandinho have all made it into the top ten.
