Atletico Madrid host Barcelona in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals this week.
The Catalan giants secured a 2-1 win at Camp Nou in the first leg of the tie and will be looking to hold onto that at the Vicente Calderon during the midweek.
Diego Simeone’s side are famous for their competitive nature and desire to win. The capital club will make it difficult for the Spanish champions.
Atletico have the vital away goal and are still very much in the tie. If they can get on the score sheet first, they have the defensive organisation to hold on to their lead. Simeone has put together one of the meanest defences in Europe and they are more than capable of containing Barcelona’s fearsome trio.
Vidal, Mathieu and Ramirez are the only injury worries for Barcelona here.
Luis Suarez is expected to return for the trip to Calderon after missing the Sociedad defeat with suspension.
Diego Simeone will be without Oliver Torres, Tiago and Gimenez. Fernando Torres picked up a red card during the first leg and will be suspended for this one.
